Gary's creation...SO cute!
Wow! I can't believe the big day has come and gone! As a new mom, I've been obsessing over the 1st birthday party for about, oh, eleven months! It was a lot of fun to plan and thanks to all our wonderful friends and family it went great. The Cannons were represented by Jen (& guest:)) and The Walkers, all the way from Winnemucca! We had many other friends and family showing their support--despite the rain and cramming into the house, we had a great time! Most importantly, LYDI had a great time. She received some fabulous gifts including, but not limited to, these baby bumpkin items found at www.babybumpkins.blogspot.com.
She also received some REALLY cute clothes and some FUN toys that we've been having a blast with all day!
We made it! Our little sweet heart turk bird (I know weird name), is ONE! She is the light of our lives. We are SOOOOO grateful for her and for the great JOY she brings to us each day! We don't deserve her, but we'll keep her!!! AAAHHH hers is just so sweet!

Oh lydi's so sweet! We miss you guys so much but blogging will keep us up-to-date. Can't believe she is one. Really can't believe Gary made that cake! John has no excuse now-he's helping with parties.
The party was so fun, my kids are still talking about it. You are the master party planner!
How funny! We posted our party pics on the same day at the same time! We had Maren's party over at the park, and it was FREEZING!! I, like you, had been planning her party for months. It was a good time. I can't believe our babies are one!!
Best first birthday party Ness & I have ever been to. The cake was awesome, kuddos to Gary. The swimming was fantastic. And again you made another kick-ass salad. I loved it! Felt like a pig going up for thirds. Can I have that recipe? Also thanks for the shout out, I'm sure Lydia will look adorable in her new Baby Bumpkins clip & onesie.
Ohhhh...Can you believe she's already 1??? That means Hayden's birthday is coming up soon...YIKES!!! I'm not ready for that!
